Quick answers.
Do I need a trade licence to refer?
Casual, occasional referrals to friends and colleagues don't usually require a licence. If referring becomes regular commercial activity generating regular income, UAE law may require you to hold a trade licence or freelancer permit from DET or a Dubai free zone. You are responsible for checking your own situation. Listi does not provide legal advice on this matter.
Does Listi pay me?
No. The business pays you directly on the terms they published. Listi is the platform that made the introduction possible.
Can I refer someone outside Dubai?
Yes, your referred person can be anywhere. The business must be Dubai-licensed.
What if the business doesn't pay me?
Always confirm terms with the business in writing before you introduce anyone. Listi isn't a party to the reward agreement, so Listi cannot enforce payment. Listi can remove listings that repeatedly breach their published commitments.
Can I cancel Plus anytime?
Yes, from your dashboard. You keep Plus benefits until the end of the paid month.
Is Listi available outside Dubai?
Currently Dubai only. Other Emirates planned.
